TANGLED.UP.REALITIES

a collection creatied during my first year in paris, as a postgraduate student at the IFM. the collection is about a girl who can reach out and see other peoples memories while she daydreams through life. THe setting is in the far future but the memories are from the now and then. the material choice was based upon the idea of a colorful dream that invades a technical world. metallics versus dyed fur, metallised leather and handcoated denim. Also the possibility of fusing multiple layers has been explored, in order to construct fabrics that serve as a stable construction for geometric cutting techniques.

The clothes have been produced in various workshops and factories in france and the shoes were a collaboration with louis vuitton malletier.
