FUTURE.NOIR

my graduation collection from the academy of fine arts in maastricht, nl, a dark and hostile world idea inspired this collection to be a monochromatic game with futuristic elements in cut and fabric opposed to classic shapes textures. The collection is based upon the codes of films like blade runner, 2001 a space odyssey and the fifth element. The materials have been sourced in vintage and red cross shops as well as markets and d.i.y stores, most of the colours are hand dyed and some fabrics have been coated with acryl or metallic polish.
